Business Banking Market Manager – Utah/Nevada recruitment

The Market Manager function is a key role in the field organization.
Business Banking is looking for a Senior Manager who
will lead a team of managers and bankers in maintaining existing client
relationships and developing new business while maintaining a focus on relationship-building, customer financial advice, client experience and risk.
Major responsibilities include:Oversees the Business Banking marketing and sales activities of an assigned market which consists of several teams of Bankers in a geographic area. Provide leadership and direction to a team of Area Managers and Business Bankers in the assigned region.
Provides leadership and support to a team of managers and Bankers, providing direction, advice, counsel and support to ensure the best customer experience, sound risk management and continued business retention and growth.Manages market's performance, holding all managers accountable for achieving results and ensuring adherence to appropriate protocols and best business practices; monitors market performance to identify trends, opportunities, areas of focus; provides and expertise to build buy-in and/or enhance/realign approach; is attuned to market's economic and business climate, political and competitive landscape.Provides support to team on non-routine business issues e.g. product pricing, deal structuring and sponsorship, client relationships, management issues.Coaches and develops managers to effectively lead a team of Bankers in relationship management, prospecting, profitability, customer experience and risk management.Oversees the market's revenue and profitability and monitors adherence to credit quality, regulatory requirements and risk protocols.Builds relationships at all levels within the business and across other businesses; Promotes partnership and teamwork within the market and across other functions to ensure a seamless experience for the client; Effectively manages conflicting interests, keeping client and business needs foremost.Holds managers accountable for
recruiting, retaining and developing high quality talent.
Represents bank in community leadership capacity such as regional non-profit boards.

Qualifications
Active and visible in community leadership rolesExtensive Commercial, Business Banking /or Consumer Branch Banking management experience (at Regional Manager or Market Manager level) leading a large sales team in producing consistent yearly sales results with a commitment to customer serviceProven track record in successfully managing P L, sales team goals and objectivesDemonstrated knowledge of creditComprehensive knowledge of bank products and servicesDemonstrated track record of being an effective team player and collaboratorExcellent communication and influencing skillsResults-oriented, customer focused with a bias for action and sense of urgencyAble to manage and lead with vision and purpose, deal with ambiguity and orchestrate change
