Business Change PM – Energy Trading company


This leading multinational Energy Company is currently experiencing tremendous amounts of growth and is as a result seeking a new Business Change Project Manager for their energy trading head office based in the South East. This role sits within the Business Management team which provides a focus on operational excellence, process control and change management within the energy trading business unit. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to deliver integrated business change, encompassing process, technology and people.

The Business Change Project Manager role will involve:
• Responsible for building and leading project teams to deliver complex business change within the energy trading environment.
• Proactive identification, shaping and delivery of business process improvements and effectiveness, through a deep understanding of the trading markets in which they operate
• Delivery of business change across the whole lifecycle from concept to closure.
• Definition and implementation of overall project governance structure and provision of clear roles and responsibilities and objectives for the project team and key stakeholders
• Stakeholder management
• Building of strong relationships with and gaining the trust of the Trading Leadership team, understanding their priorities and the business benefits of your project(s)
• Ensuring that all project management documentation meets the required standards

The Business Change Project Manager role will require:
• Strong knowledge of the energy trading markets
• Experience in delivering complex business transformation projects -involving behavioural and process change in an energy trading environment
• Outstanding Leadership and Stakeholder Management skills
• Experience of building and managing relationships across different levels of seniority and successful management of their expectations
• Worked in a lead role on major projects and delivered substantial business change and financial benefits
• Degree level education
• Experience of planning, management and risk mitigation
