Business Change Project Manager
A Large global Asset Management Firm is looking for an experinced Project Manager to join its central change group that drives projects across the organisation. This role will initially focus on Regulatory projects witin the AIFMD and FACTA space and will in turn encompass other areas of change within the orgainsation driven by its global strategy. The successful candidate will be a proven Project Manager who has worked on business change initiatives within the Asset Management space. You will aslos have lead other PMs and BAs either in a line management capacity or mentoring and time management. Taking the cultural dynamics into consideration, you will be tasked with building relationships across the business and looking at ways of leveraging a global reach. You will act as an independent advisor to senior stakeholders involved in each programme and use technical forums to riase your profile helping you acheive your end goal. You will need to have management skills to lead a team of business Analysts/subject matter experts and ensure all are heading in the right direction. Other Responsibilities include:
- Expresses self verbally in a knowledgeable, coherent and confident manner in a variety of situations
- Produces clear and succinct written communications and knows how to think through and frame messages for different audiences
- Practices attentive and active listening to understand various points of view whether or not in agreement
Project management Skills required:
- Take a proactive leadership style in ensuring that the overall project is on track from a plan, budget and scope
- Interact with the sponsor to make sure that the project delivers the expected goals
- Create and manage presentations for steering committee and other governance body reviews
- Manage and maintain documents, project tasks, issues and risks log via SharePoint site
- Research and resolve project issues as they arise, escalating as necessary
- Process mapping and design of related functions in a standardized format
- Analyze and summarize findings across all regions where applicable
- Work independently, possessing energy and confidence to complete project deliverables with limited supervision
- Take initiative and develop creative solutions for solving problems
- Prioritise work, meet tight deadlines, and have strong attention to detail
- Utilize judgment and discretion in working with highly confidential information
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze, combine and interpret information
