A leading provider of technology solutions to the factoring / asset based financial sector is looking for a business consultant to join their team that focuses on European clients. Travelling overseas around 80% of your time, you will be a sole consultant at banks across Europe to understand client requirements and assist in identifying solutions.
My client's product is a vast system that caters for a huge range of functionality and is capable of providing a one stop shop for banks looking to capitalise on the lucrative asset based finance sector. They are the market leaders in their area of technology across Europe and are expanding their presence in the UK, US and Asia.
They are looking for a candidate who has a consulting/business analyst background, can travel up to 100% of their time and has experience in the financial service technology sector in some form. You do not necessarily need factoring / asset based finance knowledge as my client will teach the right candidate the required business knowledge.
As the Business consultant - financial services, financial software, software implementation, business analysis- you will have the following responsibilities:
* Performing business analysis to understand detailed client requirement using your experience with complex financial solutions
* Using your know of the solutions (after training) to look at ways that both the client processes and the solutions can be tailored to ensure it offers the best functionality
* Develop and deliver customised training for clients
* Provide on-site support during the implementation projects
* Produce reports that detail key issues, solutions and future opportunities for internal use
* Ensure maximum income from clients whilst building and maintaining excellent relationships
* Support the product group to help improve the products and services

To be considered for the role of Business consultant - financial services, financial software, software implementation, business analysis, corporate finance - you must have the following skills and experience
* A financial services background with client facing experience
* Knowledge of presenting to and working with senior level client management
* Experience working with large scale financial software
* Willingness and eligibility to travel in the UK and Europe upto 10%
* Excellent communications skills
* The ability to articulate client requirements and devise solutions
