Business Development Analyst – Property recruitment

Opportunity
PRUPIM, part of the MG Group, are looking for a Business Development Analyst to join the team responsible for developing the institutional property funds. The analyst will support a small team of Business Development Directors, and as the sole analyst on the team, will need previous experience and be able to work on their own initiative.
Provide business support to the PRUPIM's Institutional Directors and Fund Managers in the capture and conversion of institutional new business, and some aspects of consultant relationships, client take-on and due-diligence support.
Responsible for preparing RFP's, consultant databases, new business related material and external client and consultants presentations.
Key responsibilities
1. Project management of RFP requests and consultant databases for both pooled fund and separate accounts.
2. Sourcing, creating and managing an up-to-date library of pitch presentations, generic pitch content material and track record information aligned to PRUPIM's institutional products (supported by Marketing Administrator and via close liaison with other RFP teams across the MG Group).
3. Maintenance and updating of the library of PRUPIM's fund pitch books and CRM contacts.
4. Assist the Institutional Business Directors with providing material for clients, prospects and investment consultants, including relevant updates about the investment philosophy, process and performance of specific institutional products.
5. Support commercial activity relating to the institutional business which could include: aspects of consultant relationships and enquiries; client take-on and due diligence co-ordination.
6. Coordination and production of PRUPIM's institutional new business pipeline and related management reports.
7. Support production of collateral and marketing literature for campaigns covering existing and new institutional products.
8. Research and reporting on institutional mandate search engines for property related opportunities in UK and Europe (i.e. MandateWire and iisearch.com) and undertaking appropriate competitor analysis.
What we are looking for
1. Business related degree or Real Estate qualification would be an advantage, as would CFA Level 1 or similar investment qualification.
2. Experience of running institutional RFP processes and coordinating new business pitches.
3. Ability to develop, enhance and populate institutional RFP systems and knowledge of CRM databases.
4. Ideally, knowledge of institutional fund management sales, consultant relationships, client servicing and take-on processes.
5. Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously and work with senior fund management teams.
6. Strong computer, research and analytical skills, with significant knowledge and experience of PowerPoint, WORD and EXCEL.
7. Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative.
