Business Development and Client Representative recruitment
The Business Development Representative is critical to the sales process. In addition to creating and maintaining the sales collateral materials and presentations, reporting, database analysis, and successful completion of RFPs, the person in this position is charged with developing client relationships. S/he will understand the asset management business, with a comprehensive understanding of finance and investments. A developed understanding of sub-investment grade credit, and/or credit hedge funds, and/or private equity would be a considerable advantage. This position requires quantitative skills to calculate, interpret and present investment management data. Analysis and understanding of information allows the individual to use their judgment in developing and creating material, effectively positioning the organization's products, as well as to determine how information is categorized in the various databases. Additionally, it will be incumbent upon the individual in this position to determine how the organization's products may be a solution for clients/prospects.
The successful impact of this role is a strong and direct contribution to increased AUM and revenues. A strong level of oral and written communications skills is essential, as are influencing skills. The position requires working directly with clients, as well as various internal sources, from which s/he will need to elicit information in order to derive optimal solutions and answers for sales and marketing purposes. The individual will be responsible to gather information, as well as to provide information (that will be used by potential clients and consultants in making the decision as to whether our investment products will be considered or used).
Undergraduate. 4 years of financial experience preferrably in Investor Relations. Strong computer (including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite), mathematical, data management skills, as well as presentation skills. FINRA licenses required within 4 months of hire date.
