Business Development Associate / Manager
Wealth Management is comprised of a number of smaller end-to-end businesses that focus on the investment and insurance markets.
The Corporate Super team is responsible for the Distribution of FCES and Group Insurance to the intermediated corporate superannuation market.
There is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and driven Corporate Super Business Development Associate / Manager, who is keen to step into a role that has dual responsibilities at both associate and manager level.Join our dynamic and high-performing team and you will be responsible for sales and business development opportunities, targeting specialist corporate superannuation advisory groups, dealer groups and financial advisers.
Role responsibilities include:
- 50/50 split of Business Development Associate and Business Development Management activities
- Assist in achievement of CFS corporate super sales and profitability targets (set out in the Corporate Super Sales Incentive Plan effective 1 July each year).
- Support corporate super BDM's with day to day sales activities
- Build new and sustain existing relationships with specialist corporate superannuation advisers
- Prepare tender documents, insurance quotes, Heron Adviser and Chant West Research comparisons.
- Prepare presentations, sales kits when and as required and assist with execution of presentations to employers/advisers.
- Prepare and analyse sales reporting
- Assist and support client/adviser queries and send sales materials upon request
- Ensure advisers, employers and members have a positive attitude to CFS and the FCE platform.
- Maintain adviser databases and a competitor library
- Coordinate site visits and events when and as required
Role requirements:
- Corporate superannuation experience (3 years +) within a business development or relationship management capacity.
- Excellent knowledge of CFS and competitor personal and corporate super products
- A full understanding of CFS and competitor administration and e-business systems
- Comprehensive understanding of CFS investment process and options
- RG 146 compliant
- Tertiary qualifications preferred (eg DFP)
