POSITION INFORMATION

 

·         Consults with a more sophisticated buyer and is anexperienced sales professional. This sales professional has a designated list of Ricoh and competitive accounts. The primary focus is to retain and expand sales revenue in assigned account base as well as drive new market share.

·         Meets or exceeds revenue and gross profit expectations.

·         Protects account base and increases revenue and profitability within the account.

·         Maintains sustained sales activities. Responsible for conducting and presenting benchmark demonstrations, proposals, and value propositions to account base.

·         The Business Development Consultant has an understanding of the Ricoh connectivity and enable differentiators and the ability to competently propose front-end solutions.

·         Maintains sales database. Utilizes database to ensure information is updated daily on accounts in pipeline.

·         Reviews leads, pending orders and lease upgrades, developing action plans to progress each cycle. Maintains a record of all activities inside of each account and identifies competitive information on accounts.

·         Updates calendar daily to include appointments and tasks for the assignment.

·         Establishes relationships with current and prospective customers through a variety of selling techniques (SMART Sales Process)

·         Maintains knowledge of MDS value proposition including; software applications, managed services and features and benefits of all models of equipment offered.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

                                   

EDUCATION: University Degree

                                   

EXPERIENCE:          

             

·         Minimum 1-2 years of direct sales; industry selling experience is preferred.

 

                                   

SKILLS:    

 

·         Effective in negotiating, handling objections, and preparing business proposals. 

·         Possesses strong organizational and interpersonal skills and self-motivation.                                                   

           

 

OTHER:     

 

·         Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation required (and auto insurance  coverage per Ricoh’s policy).
