Business Development Director – Healthcare recruitment

A global IT Services Company is looking for Business Development Director for their Healthcare vertical. This is a team leader position and based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of senior business development and business development managers.
* Qualify reliable opportunities based on own expertise and understanding of Healthcare needs
* To seek innovative ways to expand the business scope of new and existing contracts, ensuring all new business opportunities generate profitable revenue for the company.
* Ensure delivery of business development performance targets.
* Fully scope business development proposals, to ensure they provide profitable revenue for the company.
* Assists pre-sales teams to optimise sales efforts.
* To establish contact with senior level decision makers in targeted companies, and with external experts on a multi-country level.
* Proactively assists the sales teams to ensure closure of the business opportunity.
* Manages a virtual team which are accountable for the execution of securing new business opportunities for the company, which ultimately results in profitable revenue generation.

Key requirements:
* MBA qualified or equivalent and significant experience of leading large contracts and business development activities for IT Services businesses in APAC, predominantly in the Healthcare domain.
* Experience working on a complex Health Solutions bids and commercial understanding, including pricing models and business cases, and experience of project planning and delivery.
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills and ability to manage a successful sales team
* Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
* Able to quickly build and maintain relationships at the most senior levels.
