Business Development Director recruitment

 Responsibilities:

- Achieves new business sales goals for the assigned territory through direct, intermediary, and alternative distribution channels.

- Manages and builds strategic partnerships with assigned producers to create focused sales strategies.

- Develops relationships with contacts within industry, government, and providers of healthcare delivery in support of business objectives.

- Promotes companuy’s insurance and non-insurance solutions as appropriate for assigned territory.

- Takes leadership role in setting strategy and collaborating with underwriting to prepare competitive quotes for targeted prospects.

- Maintains contact and opportunity data in Salesforce.com.

- Monitors industry information and competitive environment of the marketplace to position company’s strength accordingly.

- Maximizes sales by articulating how it’s capabilities can contribute to constituents’ long-term strategies.

- Supports cross sell opportunities from other regions

- Assists in the development of strategy in large case RFP responses.

- Develops, executes and communicates a comprehensive strategy that is aligned with prospect’s objectives, financial position and employee benefits strategy while providing profitable revenue and growth to organization and supporting segment business objectives

- Delivers organized polished presentations of solutions with benefits tied to constituents needs.

- Partners with account management to create a renewal strategy that identifies profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within existing customers.

- Assists in the development of product strategy and partners with internal constituents to ensure that desired product suite is delivered.

 Requirements:

- 8+ years industry or customer service experience

- Excellent presentation skills

- Licensure as required by local authority

- Fluent in written spoken English
