Position Summary:
We're looking for an exceptional Senior "hunter" Business Development Director with experience selling and closing application development and maintenance engagements. This is a remote position, working out of a home office who will own a sales territory.

Responsibilities:
- Must be fluent in local language specific to the job location
- Must poses proper work authorizations specific to the job location

*Responsible for identifying, ranking, developing and managing prospects and then successfully bringing the prospect through the sales pipeline to a successful close.

*Responsible for identifying new, and working with existing Lionbridge alliances to increase effectiveness of sales activities. Work with internal global presales, solutions, and operations teams to ensure solutions are built to support client needs.

*Responsible for ongoing relationship management with clients for whom Lionbridge has already started work.

Requirements:

*10-15 years of consultative selling experience in information technology field.

*MUST possess experience hunting and selling application development and maintenance engagements.

*Experience must include corporate sales successes, at the Fortune 2000/enterprise account size.

*Must be comfortable working at senior executive contact levels.

*Able to develop sales strategies, value/benefit analysis, ROI.

*Must have strong team leadership skills, yet be able to generate individual high level of sustained sales activity.

*Must have a proven record of increasingly higher levels of sales success.

*Must have a proven record of maintaining successful relationships, at individual level, with senior management in prospect and client organizations.

Education:

*Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a degree in Business, Computer Technology, or Technology Engineering field
