JOB SUMMARY:
This is a sales position responsible for pursuing, maintaining, and growing revenue within the staffing and direct hire placement business. Some accounts and/or a market may be assigned in addition to expected new business development. Some Account Executives may be responsible for developing a market from scratch with no prior existing business. Will plan and implement consistent volumes of focused activities necessary for high achievement in placements on a staff augmentation, project staffing, temporary, temp-to-perm, and/or direct hire basis.
Client activities include client development, new account and retention sales calls, obtaining requisitions/job orders, maintaining a high fill ration, penetrating client accounts and taking a positive proactive position in corporate partnering.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage multiple client relationships and engagements
- Development and implementation of strategic plans to solidify long-term business relationships and partnerships
- Responsible for increasing market share by proactively prospecting, pursuing, and closing new business
- Activity based selling to ensure that sales activities are aligned with business goals
Leadership in partnering with recruitment staff so they identify potential leads through recruiting activities; AE encourages and consistently accepts leads, pursues for business development and communicates results - Develop prospect list and execute a targeted sales and marketing plan to generate new business
- Proactively seek new avenues to penetrate clients and attract candidates
Desired Skills Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years in an outside sales capacity
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Experience developing client relationships in Fortune 500 and/or Russell 2000 companies preferred
- Sales experience in the staffing industry with a proven track record of success and/or sales experience at the executive and corporation officer level with a proven track record of success
