Indianapolis agency for worldwide relocation carrier is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for Indianapolis area market. Founded in 1927 we have a strong tradition in providing quality global relocation solutions for Full Service to Do-It-Yourself Household Goods and Commercial/Office relocations. In addition we provide high tech transportation, portable container storage, record management services, distribution/logistics services and project management services.
Primary Responsibilities:
New Business development in service/product lines
Developing and maintaining client relationships for immediate and long term opportunities
Aggressively pursue and close company provided leads
Invest time outside normal business hours to build customer and community relationships
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years sales experience in service related industries
Bachelor's Degree or comparable work related experience
Experience in relocation industry and CDL license a plus
Skills/Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Intermediate computer skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently as a Sales Team member
Cold Calling experience with ability to identify future growth opportunities
Effective negotiating and closing skills
