About our client
This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious global private equity fund as its business development manager. You will focus on sourcing investment opportunities and managing relationships with intermediaries and introducers, with a core strategy to build long term value.
Responsibilities
- You will identify companies across Europe that meet its investment criteria
- Source companies through direct approaches, intermediaries such as corporate financiers and lawyers, bankers, and through networking at conferences
- You will initiate and manage relationships with owners and managers in these companies
- Assist the transaction team in getting to know the target companies and hand over the relationships in an orderly manner
Skills we’re looking for
- You will have an understanding of business and finance through working with one of the following; an investment bank, corporate finance or transactions services, consulting, equity sales, or as a business development manager in industry
- You will have a strong understanding of company accounts
- You will have excellent inter-personal skills and attention to detail
