The Business Development Manager would be involved in the sales process from start to end: from introducing through managing to completion of eligible loans. The role itself involves selling and presenting to both brokers and IFAs who operate in bridging finance, buy to let, second charges, mezzanine lending or commercial finance.

Additionally, the person sought would constantly liaise with brokers to ensure efficient relationship management, and would also be involved in the loan credit review itself.

A successful candidate would have at least 5 years of front office sales experience and feel comfortable in face-to-face client meetings and sales pitches. A strong drive for sealing deals and earning commission, as well as self-motivation and devotion, are a must. In this business, relationships are the key to success. Hence, an influential personality and strong communication skills are a typical trait that a candidate for this role should have.

Direct experience in property finance sales is beneficial yet not compulsory. Most importantly, you would possess strong analytical and numerical skills, and would have previously sold some type of complex financial products.
