Business Development Manager recruitment
IOOF is one of Australia’s largest independent and pure providers of wealth creation product and services. IOOF operates four divisions including Financial advice and distribution, Platform Management and Administration, Investment Management, and Trustee. Within each division we promote a variety of brands including Bridges Financial Services, Consultum, Wealth Managers, Ord Minnett, Spectrum Super, Pursuit, Perennial Investment Partners Limited, IOOF MultiMix and Australian Executor Trustees (AET).
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager within our Australian Executor Trustees (AET) business. Based in Melbourne this role will see you reporting to the Head of Sales - Trust and Fiduciary Services.
Within this role your primary responsibility will be generating new business and revenue for AET. You will do this through:
- Promoting and selling AET services via intermediaries
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new intermediaries
- Actively participating in strategy and product development initiatives
- Complete and implement an intermediary contact program
To be successful in this role you will have substantial experience within financial services, trustee industry or legal practice and be RG146 compliant. You will have proved business development capabilities, have a basic understanding of products and services provided by AET and IOOF as well as an understanding of relevant legislation including trust and estate administration, tax law and regulation of trustee companies. You will also have proven business development capabilities coupled with business acumen and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
