Business Development Manager recruitment

Accountabilities:

To be responsible for promoting NASDAQ Dubai and its value proposition as the exchange of choice to list on for MENASA (Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia). In particular to target and pitch for potential listings, by building and maintaining quality relationships with senior representatives of potential issuers and advisors.
To be responsible with the appropriate Senior Manager for the entire listing process from the point of the sales pitch to actual listing date. This will include coordinating externally with issuer firms, banks and law firms and internally with the NASDAQ Dubai Market Regulation, Market Operations, and Marketing functions.
To work closely with Business Development in identifying opportunities related to Business Development including investigating avenues for exchange growth on the equity side of the business, product development, and senior management projects and presentations.
To promote the NASDAQ Dubai Academy alongside the Membership and Academy Manager
Any other duties as delegated by management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Essential:

Minimum 5 years of experience in capital markets preferably within the Middle East
Degree in Economics/Finance/MBA/CFA, or equivalent professional qualification
Excellent understanding of investment products and exchanges
Expert ability to liaise with senior Investment Banking/Legal professionals
Strong client relationship skills and salesmanship
Strong interpersonal and professional presentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English, adapting communication style for internal and external audiences
Must be analytical with strong logical problem solving skills
Must be able to travel abroad frequently and on short notice

Preferred:

Masters degree in Economics/Finance/MBA/CFA, or equivalent professional qualification
Conversant in Arabic
Currently living in the UAE or Middle East
