The Appointment
World leading Travel Insurance company is now looking for a dynamic and creative individual as Business Development Manager, specializing in B2B sales. Major responsibilities:
1. Business Development
- Develop sales strategy to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Contribute to new product/services initiatives, particularly in travel insurance, automotive or medical assistance industry
- Effective search of sales leads and prospects
- Actively participate in the negotiation conclusion of contracts with key partners through appropriate propositions
- Through constant analysis consultations, ensure that The Company’s service offering is appropriate for the Singapore and other Asian markets, and recommend changes to business development strategies as needed to respond to changing environment
- Provide support for all corporate marketing PR-related activities as required
- Represent the company at trade shows and corporate events
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
2. Account Management
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s Assistance and
- Travel Insurance business in the Asian environments
- Develop maintain strategic relationships with key target segments (Insurance companies, Banks, Travel players, Car Manufacturers, Telecom Operator…) across Asia.
- Master existing client sales figures and closely monitor their performance
- Continuously propose innovative ways to drive profitable growth with existing client.
- Be accountable for new client implementation within the agreed timeline and budget.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree level, with majors in Marketing preferred
- Have a strong track record working with brokers and corporate
- An individual who likes challenges and possess the ability to create market leading initiatives
- Possess extensive industrial contacts
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- High level interpersonal and analytical skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Self-motivated person who is comfortable in working in a result-based position
- Strong ability to plan and manage time is essential
- A friendly, professional manner is imperative, as is the ability to prepare and make presentations effectively
- High-level Computer literacy
