Business Development Manager recruitment

Opportunity for an experienced, highly energetic Hunter.
This role will require extensive new business development and you will carry a personal target, which you will be expected to meet and exceed. Long hours are anticipated as standard.

You have Telecom or IT Services experience gained over a number of years selling into one/both of these industries.
Specific vertical sector experience is not a pre-requisite, however someone coming from Banking/Financial Services could be at an advantage.

Sales would typically be made to Finance Managers, Sales Managers and alike. So a rolodex at Senior Management and C-Suite would be advantageous.

PERSON
The ideal candidate will be:
• Entrepreneurial Sales Person: Someone who is happy to work in an entrepreneurial environment, which is growing at a very fast pace and ensure that you keep up and succeed. Used to short sales cycle, understands that selling to part of an organisation in a small way to start, is as essential as bigger picture/whole organisation; further down the line.
• A team player: who demonstrates a cohesive approach and communicates confidently at the highest levels, to build meaningful external and internal relationships and possessing excellent interpersonal skills.

• Business Savvy: High-energy, accountable and forward-looking; able to see larger business picture to identify and diagnose problems and sell around them. Able to succeed with dynamic business development programs and assist in influencing the future success of the company.

• Hunter/“Gets it done” Attitude: The ability to “hit the ground running”. Willing to roll-up his/her sleeves to get things done; he/she must also be able to identify and alleviate any potential hurdles to achieving objectives, successfully managing clients and sales, directly and with limited support.

• Location/Travel: You must be located in easy commute distance to London, or be able to very easily relocate, (off your own volition). In addition, willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally Europe is a pre requisite of this role, although this is not extensive

The Financial Services sector has a new law coming into place, which means that Front Office-staff, require their mobile phone calls to be recorded. This company has a revolutionary new product which will put them at the cutting edge of facilitating this change for FS organisations; which bypasses the requirement for the company to have to download and use an application, instead it offers the service straight from Sim card.
