An expanding soft FM / soft services group are expanding their Sales Marketing department and require an experiences Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to win public and private sector contracts.
The BDM will come into the Sales Marketing department and work alongside the team to develop new business within the contract cleaning marketplace. The role will be based from the office part of the time and the rest of the time the Business Development Manager will be out and about visiting clients to create and develop client relationships. There is an expectation for the right person to be able to self-generate leads and also convert opportunities generated by the telesales team.
The main attributes for the successful candidate are:
• Experience of writing and revising complex tenders and bids
• Excellent Presentation skills
• Strong sales experience in either products or services
• Living in the South East / South Coast
• Good educational background
• Flexible attitude to working hours
• Full driving licence
• IT skills
