Business Development Manager South East

Purpose

Originating new mortgage business through intermediaries in specified location. This will be achieved through face to face calling, telephone and email.
You will be reporting into the intermediary sales manager.
•You will be expected to achieve targets set around delivering mortgage acquisitions.

•You need to be a self motivated able to build relationships with our brokers and work to a high level of professionalism
•You are expected to have mortgage lending experience and good industry knowledge
Main responsibilities
•Ensure you reasonably anticipate, minimise and manage operational risk
•Work towards departmental objectives as guided by manager.
•Display values and behaviours at all times
•Actively contribute to your individual objectives and provide feedback on a regular basis
•Excellence of service delivery to our broker, customers and/or Stakeholders
•Provision of accurate and timely expertise and advice
•Identify and champion continuous improvement within your area and across the business where appropriate
•Ensure you work within the TCF principles and that this is the forefront of everything you do
•Deliver high departmental performance through effective use of available resource; striving to manage and reduce overall costs

The ideal candidate
Applicants should have an up to date knowledge understanding of the Financial Services Industry how these impact the area of responsibility
You must have an extensive in depth knowledge of mortgages the intermediary market.
You must be able to work remotely be able to build strong relationships with your team as well as internal external stakeholders
You will possess strong qualities such as being self motivated, enthusiastic have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
You must have a proven track record of success.
You will be experienced in managing change, resources controlling budgets to ensure operational plans are achieved.
