Business Development Manager – Trade Technology Vendor recruitment
About our client:
A Trading Technology and Communications vendor with offices globally, exciting new launch of complex Front to Back office trading application platform will be the real focus for 2012.
Role Summary:
An experienced sales individual for the generation of new business opportunities in London. Selling Trading Systems and Network Technology to banks, brokers, wealth managers, hedge funds and energy trading companies.
The successful candidate will:
- Be accountable for developing new business relationships (and maintaining existing) generating and winning new business
- Have a clear understanding of financial market and compile prospect list
- Focus on upgrading existing customer base to new Trading solution
- Ability to manage a deal process from start to finish including Cold Calling, Business Development, Deal Closing
- Also inolve the negotiation of client contracts and licenses for renewals and new revenue streams
Essential:
- Solid experience selling and managing strategic accounts in a trade network or trade technology background
- Ability to penetrate top institutions and decision makers in region. (this needs to be demonstrated)
- Sales experience within the Financial Trading Markets
- Organisational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Capable of showing continual progress through all forms of communication, and ability to develop 3/6/9/12 month strategies and work to them
- Good understanding of Front Office trading process and applications
