The role
As the Business Development Associate you will be supporting the Australian Retail Sales team to maximise inflows across the product range. Specifically, your responsibilities will include booking appointments for the sales team, updating Key Account templates, project managing annual dealer group conferences, assist with the launch of new wholesale products, answering ad hoc queries from advisers and other administrative tasks as required.
It is likely that you come from a funds management or platform background. You may be in a BDA or a client/adviser services role currently looking for the next step in your career.
Key skills and attributes
- A blend of sales nous coupled with clerical ability
- Proactive and energetic - A willingness to pick up the phone
- Strong levels of initiative and understanding of the sales process
- High attention to detail
- Proficient with databases and good excel skills
- Effective communicator both written and verbal
- The ability to prioritise and meet multiple deadlines
