Business Development & Sales Executive recruitment
As part of our ambitious growth plans we are looking to hire a Business Development Sales Executive. Reporting into the Business Development Manager and Sales Director, the successful candidate will play an integral part in the growth of our business and cover a range of responsibilities including (but not limited to):
• Organisation and preparation of all sales pitch materials from initial meeting through to written proposals and follow up with the client
• Research on prospective clients and opportunities
• Preparation of weekly management information on sales activity and trends
• Diary organisation for all of the sales team
• Following up on potential client leads and progression in the future to organise and attend face to face client meetings
• Maintenance of a networking events calendar to ensure that business development team are attending relevant events
• Internal liaison with consultants to resource sales meetings
• Maintenance of relations with referral contacts
Who we're looking for:
• Good Degree (Humanities or Social Sciences preferred)
• A team worker
• Exceptionally good written English skills
• Confident speaker
• Ability to convey technical concepts in clearly and logically
• Experience and skill in researching and profiling
• Attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to liaise at all levels internally and externally
• Desire to build a career in business development; must enjoy meeting new people and have the ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Must be rewards driven
• An individual that has some experience of telesales/customer service
• Experience of a financial services or professional services firm would be very advantageous
Initially the role will be on a base salary only basis, however once the successful individual has passed their probation they will become eligible to earn commission in line with results achieved.
