Business Intelligence Analyst
The Business Intelligence Analyst is an integral part of the Finance department and will be responsible for day-to-day interaction with our team members. The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a major role in the thought leadership and insight generation as it relates to the Finance team. The Business Intelligence Analyst will gain experience and expertise on strategy and operations, and serve an important role both internally and externally as a liaison, information resource and key point of contact. The Business Intelligence Analyst will perform under tight deadlines and will present analysis and be prepared for rigorous questioning of their analysis findings. The Business Intelligence Analyst will interact closely with the SVP of Finance in a capacity of thought leadership, insight generation, and summarize findings in a PowerPoint presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for carrying out outreach strategy and organizing in person and phone interactions with member executives
- Coordinate internal meetings related to Finance strategy and operations
- Arrange departmental meetings and the coordination of all logistics
- Assist team with tracking key performance metrics
- Assist the leadership team with collateral creation on an as needed basis
- Provide 'thought leadership', insight generation and creativity to team
- Prepare follow-up materials after finance meetings
- Monitor industry trends and institution-specific issues in order to tailor marketing efforts
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Health Care research
- Document and analyze findings from primary and secondary research
- Identify and critique best practice strategies and solutions
- Develop innovative frameworks for presentation of findings
- Contribute to creation of presentation materials
- Potentially analyze and build market calculators and financial models
- Other administrative duties
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing skills, as well as problem-solving and brainstorming skills.
- Persistence, creativity, and superb attention to detail.
- Intellectually curious
- Creativity and persistence, excellent problem-solving and brainstorming skills, and flexibility and comfort with ambiguity and change in project direction.
- Demonstrated success in a rigorous academic and work environment.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
