Job Description

Equipped with effective communications skills, lead and manage a small team of business intelligence and reporting professionals in the day to day operational and management reporting requirements, for business divisions and senior management. Work closely with your team and business stakeholders to develop collaborative working relationships to meet key business objectives.

Key deliverables include:

• Analysing existing business intelligence and reporting capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement including annual expenditure
• Develop strategies to align business intelligence and reporting processes, systems and architecture to statutory requirements
• Develop and implement plans in consultation with your division manager to meet business objectives
• Ensure all team members are trained and adhere to organisational procedures to ensure a consistent outcome
• Lead the department to provide excellent internal and external customer service, along with monitoring department activities to ensure performance and operational output is maintained

The Successful Applicant

To be considered you must have demonstrated experience directly managing a team of BI and reporting professionals along with:

• Demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing design principles, data modelling concepts, ETL and SAP integrated reporting environments
• Experience developing business aligned BI strategies and architectures
• Demonstrated experience leading the implementation of business intelligence and reporting platforms in medium to large organisations
• Proven experience managing a team in using BI platforms and tools including SAP BW, Cognos, Business Objects and SQL Reporting Services
• Business Intelligence or reporting certifications in SAP BW/BI, Cognos, or other enterprise BI platforms

Ideally you would also have experience in SAP BW security and experience in data cleansing, consolidation and profiling
