A leading global investment bank in Luxembourg with real and significant reach and reputation is seeking to hire an exceptional Business Intelligence Developer for a multi award winning team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for developing the ETL and Business Intelligence tools for one of the most interesting parts of the investment bank. There is a true scope within this position to quickly move into a team lead role which will provide direction for the whole delivery of the project.
Responsibilities for Business Intelligence – Developer (Developer, Business Intelligence, Datawarehouse, BI, ETL, Support, Crystal, Metadata, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, Windows) – Shenzhen, China
- To develop and maintain the Business Intelligence, ETL tools and Data warehouse for the fund administration team
- To give clear and precise direction to the project through management, maintaining best practises.
- Analyses and consult on requirements handed down from the business

The candidate should be able to provide and show and history of;
Technology watch on BI products.
Administration and support of our BI tools:
- ETL tools (BODS)
- BuisnessObjects WebIntelligence
- Metadata Management
- Crystal report
- Dashboarding Tools
Best practices
Writing and promotion of best practices in context of BI within all IT teams
Semantic layers
- Analysis of the business requirements
- Workload estimation and proposition of planning including all the involved teams and stakeholders.
Third level support
- Help other teams in the research of solution to specific problem linked to BI tools. Technical support and functional support.
- Optimization Tuning of BI applications and software
- Sharing of expertise, training and coaching of other team member
Key Competencies Required:
- Data warehouse and Business Intelligence experience
- Data Modelling (OLTP and Dimensional)
- Project Management skills (analysis, workload estimation, planning and follow-up).
Technical Knowledge:
- Oracle; Sql, PL/SQL
- Sybase IQ; Transact SQL
- SAP/BusinessObjects suites: BODI/BODS, WEBI, XCelsius
- Unix, Windows
