User Experience Product Designer London - 40 -50K + benefits
My client are a large financial publishing house that delivers comprehensive and authoritative legal, business, government and tax information worldwide. They are a leader in their industry in the UK and in the US. I am looking for a user experience product designer to join the Global Product Development team in London. You will need to have good experience of creating wireframes, visual mockups, graphics, and user workflows.
You will be responsible for designing the user experience for new products and enhancements. This is a customer advocate role within project teams ensuring that products are useful, usable, and desirable via a thorough understanding and practice of the user centered design process. Work with marketing, product strategy, project management, product management, product development and users to design innovative, industry leading products.
You will need to have good communication skills and work effectively within an extended cross-functional project team. Excellent organization skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to adjust to frequent changes in project priorities are going to be key in this role.
Key Skills needed for this role:
-Experience in a commercial software product company
-User centered design principles and practices
-Innovative, creative problem solver with an eye for detail and accuracy
-Adobe Creative Suite 3.0 and Visio
-Excellent communication skills
