Business Intelligence Subject Matter Expert – Vice President recruitment
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a senior Business Intelligence Subject Matter expert for a tier 1 Investment Bank based in their luxury offices in Canary Wharf. This Business Intelligence Subject Matter Expert will be primarily responsible for spear heading the strategic direction of the banks Business Intelligence platform; working closely with clients, evaluating the latest Business Intelligence technologies while working closely with internal development teams to lead business critical Business Intelligence projects through from design to go-live.
On a day to day basis this individual will be working within a global team, responsible for the architecture, engineering, development and support of the business intelligence reporting platforms. In particular this individual should be an expert in the SAP Business Objects product suite, from both an administration perspective and end-user.
This Business Intelligence team service various areas of the business including Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Prime Services, Fixed Income, Rates/Risk IT. Therefore meaning that this individual will have a high level of exposure to different business streams and high visibility to senior management.
30% of the role will be evaluating new technologies for the bank through bake-off sessions.
30% will be implementing these new technologies and supporting users in how to use them.
30% Supporting the bank with existing technology and making recommendations on how to improve performance.
10%Vendor management and technical escalation.
