Purpose of role

The role holder will be responsible for owning the definition, collection and analysis of Business Intelligence to support the appropriate areas of the business to shape, plan and deliver their location agenda. The primary focus will be all financial information. The role holder will shape the definition and implementation of a single golden source of standard financial data for location strategy. The role holder will work with finance and the Head of BI for location strategy to define and standardise the inputs required to consistently analyse the benefits of location impacting initiatives. The role holder will be the primary engagement point to nominated business line stakeholders to manage alignment with and collection against the Location strategy BI definitions. The role holder will provide proactive analysis to give insight to the Location Strategy team and other relevant oversight and executive committees as well as responding to ad hoc requests from the same teams. The role holder will implement a process and governance for the timely collection of data through effective scoping, resourcing, governance and stakeholder management. All of the above needs to be in line with the overall objectives of the business.

The right candidate will possess a proven track record in building and implementing the strategy for producing and communicating value add MI/analysis solutions to support tactical and strategic decision making. The successful candidate will have experience of managing data collection programmes for consistent global reporting.

The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of working on a variety of relevant projects with successful delivery of; effective stakeholder management, value add analysis/insight, strong governance controls and effective management of resource.

The ideal candidate will have technical skills relating to the use and understanding of relational databases. The right candidate will have experience in managing developers and users of both strategic and tactical data collection, storage and delivery solutions.

The successful candidate will possess project leadership with delivery experience and stakeholder management will be a crucial part of the role especially managing upwards
