Business Manager
A growing market leading business, integral to the global banking sector, is hiring for a Business Manager to join their busy and growing Treasury team.
Reporting to the Treasury COO, the incumbent will work closely with other senior personnel in the delivery of Treasury related strategies and objectives.
Requiring a blend of strategic thinking and project management, the Business Manager will be involved in a wide range of projects and initiatives.
- Review business plans and initiatives for completeness, consistency and alignment with Group strategies and objectives.
- Identify solutions/ action plans in response to strategic issues.
- Deputise for the Treasury COO in certain meetings when requested.
- Monitor and pursue the effective on-time delivery of the Treasury change pipeline of initiatives, including prioritisation with relevant stakeholder.
- Supervise the timely, accurate and impactful research and analysis of market information and competitor analysis, as well as internal metrics which underpin strategy decisions.
- Prepare strategy and other decision-making analyses / materials for ExCo, OpCo, Group Board and external forums.
Accordingly, my client requires a truly exceptional candidate for this opportunity;
- Relevant experience in business management, business change and/or strategy consulting.
- In-depth experience of investment banking, asset management and/or other financial services.
- Demonstrate detailed grasp of market, legal, accounting, regulatory and information systems.
- Strong business programme / project management skills with a strong track record of identifying and taking personal responsibility for resolving major/ critical-path issues.
- MBA or equivalent and strong education track record.
- Preference would be given to candidates who speak fluent French, but this is not critical.
