Business Manager – Associate recruitment
The Capital Markets Treasury Solutions team (CMTS) sits within Corporate Finance, and provides financing, risk management, treasury products and solutions to clients, with a focus on Markets and Global Transaction Banking products.
The Business Management team in Birmingham supports the CMTS business, and is relied upon by various infrastructure and control functions within the bank. The business managers are seen as the face of the business internally, and must have sound understanding of all areas including finance, risk, compliance, planning cost control. Broad general knowledge of the running of an investment bank is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting Analysis.
- Budgeting/Forecasting.
- Managing controlling costs.
- Preparation of presentations for senior management.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level.
- CIMA part/full qualifications are a plus, but not essential.
- Experience in management accounting/accounting
- Knowledge/experience within banking financial services is a big advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - specifically Excel - abilty to model, automate spreadsheets and create basic databases with pivots, Vlookups etc (not macro level).
