Group Talent is responsible for resourcing, performance management, learning and development, people strategy insight and talent management in RBS. The role of the team is to get great people to join, do their best and develop with RBS. Group Talent matches the right people to the right work and take action where there are gaps. As Business Planning Manager you will have responsibility for the development, build, application and management of the financial management operating system for RBS Group Talent. Leading and managing a small team, you'll ensure there's a robust budget and headcount operating system in place. This includes responsibility for effective budget planning, reforecast processes, change control processes, accrual management, cost allocations and cost centre reporting.
To be successful in this crucial position you will need to have previous experience of financial management and of managing a small team. As the Business Planning Manager you should have an understanding of financial governance, experience of report writing and first class communication and stakeholder management skills. Previous experience working with HR systems and processes, together with an understanding of resourcing and organisational effectiveness would also be extremely beneficial.
