Business Process Analyst
Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) provides a variety of services across the globe with an underlying specialisation in interest rate, commodity or foreign exchange related institutional trading, marketing, lending, clearing or platform provision.
FICC offers trading, sales, research and finance covering:
- Fixed income - interest rate, debt and credit securities
- Currency - foreign exchange spot, forward and tailored services
- Commodities - metals, energy, environmental products, agriculture, freight, bulk commodities, and complementary futures services
An opportunity has arisen in the FICC Futures Clearing team for a Business Process Analyst for a 3-4 month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Project is to implement a new futures matching and allocation system (Seals NG);
- Role is to define the comprehensive requirements for the project.
- Document current business and systems process (BPM / swim-lane diagram)
- Analyse functionality across existing and future systems
- Determine 'future state' business and systems process (BPM / swim-lane)
- Document 'master story list' of project actions to get from 'current' to 'future state'
Experience Skills Required
- An experienced BA with BPM experience (preferably in Visio)
- Experience documenting master story list
- Comfortable leading workshops with project stakeholders
- Project management skills
- Experience in traded derivatives (preferred)
- Strong communication, business engagement and documentation skills
- Ability to document and analyse complex process flows and identify improvements
