The Business Project Leader (BPL) is responsible for the successful management of the FX Derivatives change deliveries as part of Foreign Exchange/Precious Metals Change-the-Bank projects in the Cash Trade Development business area. This includes, but is not limited, to the following tasks:

-Planning, steering and controlling of the project objectives (deliverables, quality, time, costs) leveraging the project steering instruments (project plan, status reports, change requests etc.)
-Oversee and or conduct detailed business analysis, produce timely, clear and concise business requirement for FX/PM F2B IT teams
-Work closely with IT partners to transform business requirements documents into detailed functional specifications
-Oversee and or conduct in depth UAT and UAT reporting with Operations and Business partners
-Ensures adequate training and eventual know-how transfer and SOP documentation for the Run-the-bank units
-Information across different management levels within FX and PM Business on progress and risks, drives decision making process and initiates escalations
-Accurate and equivalent central reporting of the project status within Global Cash Trade Department
-Planning and coordination of the finalization and hand-over of the project to the Run-the-Bank teams
-Closes project (incl. lessons learned) and tracks and remaining issues for resolution/handover
-Budgeting and forecasting of the future business demand together with the stakeholders

Responsiblities
-Achievement of project objectives according to the project mandate
-Delivery of the project deliverables according to the project mandate
-Adequate allocation, use and operation of project team members
-Adequate communication and reporting of project status to project stakeholders, Steering Committee and sponsors
-Adequate involvement of all global stakeholders in project process
-Correct alerting and escalation of project risks to stakeholders, Steering Committee and project sponsors

Authorithies
-Review and pre-approval of project related documents and deliverables
-Coordination of final approval process

Required professional skills
-Strong experience in project management (Scoping, planning, steering, tracking etc.)
-Strong FX/PM product experience, Operations and or Middle office experience
-FX Derivatives Product experience is beneficial
-Strong analytical and organizational skills
-Experience in multi-level and international projects
-Good technical and workflow know-how
-Capable to run workshops with different project members

Required social and personal skills
-Target-oriented, solution-driven
-Contemporary leadership skills (Motivator)
-Good communication and presentation skills across different management levels
-Diplomatic skills, can create consensus between different interests

Other requirements
-Established, experienced managers with leadership skills
-Bachelor with professional experience
-Fluent in English as a must and good in German as a must (fluent is beneficial); any other languages are a benefit
