Business Project Manager
Macquarie Personal Banking (MPB), a division of the Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS), is one of the divisions for Macquarie's retail clients in Australia.
Reporting into the Head of Product and Program - Macquarie Cards, you will be primarily responsible for the delivery of end-to-end projects and change requests, including new product, channel and white-label program developments as well as smaller BAU initiatives for the Macquarie Credit Card business. You will focus on a diverse range of projects associated with the domestic expansion of existing and new businesses.
More about the role:
- Driving the delivery of end-to-end new product, channel and white label credit card projects;
- Management of all aspects of projects including the business requirements, budget, documentation, governance and project planning;
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects, including Marketing and Distribution, Risk and Analytics, Operations and Technology;
- Interface with business partners to ensure program delivery is adequately planned, developed and implemented;
- Management of the BAU change request process and facilitate the prioritisation of these initiatives;
- Provide input into product and service innovation leveraging new technologies available;
- Provide relevant project reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (project management, finance, economics or similar);
- Relevant project management experience at local or international level in leading and delivering projects in Financial Services;
- Experience in delivery and of cards and cards related projects preferred;
- Experience in payment industry and credit card product knowledge is highly beneficial;
- Ability to effectively communicate a point of view and obtain the support / buy in of key stakeholders;
- Ability to interact with vendors and partners at all levels;
- Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate perseverance in overcoming obstacles;
- Good time management and work prioritisation skills;
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship skills.
