Business & Relationship Management – Trainee
Key Responsibilities: Support Structured Finance and Corporate Finance Issuer, Banker and Investor Business Strategies.
Fitch Ratings is seeking an Analyst Trainee for our Business Relationship Management group. Over the course of the first year, the trainee would rotate and support the activities of the various business relationship management teams, which are responsible for expanding and managing the relationships and the various capital markets participants including issuers, investors and bankers.
Responsibilities will include updating and tracking market data, trends and information on the relevant bond markets to support the development of strategies, relationships and projects, creating and updating presentations, contact data management, prepare quarterly marketshare reports, assist with fee management, coordinating the group’s electronic research distribution efforts, and ensuring that investor, issuer or banker target lists are updated and accurate. The trainee will also assist in preparing monthly and quarterly business management reports to highlight the group’s activities by obtaining information from both a marketing database and direct feedback from senior members of the team.
Throughout the course of the year, the trainee will have the opportunity to attend external meetings and events with key market constituents.
Qualifications and Experience:
Recent graduate preferably in Management, Finance or Economics.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Highly developed communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
Able to work independently while maintaining high work standards and demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
Team oriented, with ability to effectively build relationships both externally and internally.
Ability to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and knowledge of Bloomberg useful.
