Business Risk Specialist (Manager)
The successful candidate will be part of the Investment Suitability (IS) Program, which is the largest multi year program within the bank and is focused on the following key activities:
- Design and implementation of the overall IS Framework taking into account regulatory requirements across the APAC region
- Design and implementation of appropriate IS Controls
- Design and delivery of Client Advisor relevant communications and training
IS impacts front to back processes across multiple facets including product definition, client information and post trade controls. The interaction with multiple stakeholders from various disciplines like product specialists, legal and compliance as well as operations and front line staff to achieve alignment of intent is a key requirement. The program works towards achieving multiple project deliverables followed by the operational maintenance and ownership of IS knowledge.
Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:
- Familiarity with Wealth Management processes and controls. Experience in pre and post trade controls.
- Good project management skills to drive production investigations and audit remediation topics
- Versatility to address multiple IS topics and provide the interface to various stakeholders such as IPS, Local Risk Unit, Legal and Compliance.
- IT affinity
- Clear ownership responsibility in addressing volatile scenarios and providing solutions to front line queries and requests
- Strong mediation skills to lead discussions on challenging / polarizing intents
- Clear communication skills to development and deliver user training
- Good attention to detail
