Business Strategy Manager
High impact, high profile opportunity offered by this prestigious financial institution to a high calibre individual with proven people management skills and a solid grounding in MA gained either from a transactional or post-merger integration perspective. An understanding of strategy and business models is essential and will ideally come from the financial services sector, with emphasis on either insurance or banking.
Day to day responsibilities are varied and will require the successful candidate to be able to manage change in an environment where priorities and focus constantly evolve. Superior academics are essential and will be complemented by a relevant accountancy, legal or CFA qualification, together with excellent critical analysis skills, report writing ability and judgement. Previous MA experience will be gained from a banking, legal or consultancy environment and applications are also invited from Business Strategy managers with post-merger experience gained from the insurance or banking sectors.
Applicants will be high achievers with a genuine interest in service improvement and people management, the ability to manage and develop a diverse team of professionally qualified individuals is essential, together with superior stakeholder management, communication, influencing and presentation skills.
