Junior Legal Counsel

We deal with highly-automated electronic market making activities in a wide variety of financial products such as derivatives, stocks and fixed income. What you will do
As our new Junior Legal Counsel you will be part of a team of highly experienced Legal Counsels and you will work in close cooperation with different business units. You will assist the business in respect of all legal matters in the field of, amongst others, general contractual law, IP law and employment law. In particular you will review and draft commercial contracts, advise in respect of legal aspects thereof and, where required, coordinate the negotiations and communication with the relevant parties involved.
What you will need
As our new Junior Legal Counsel you will need to recognise yourself in the following profile.
- Qualified Dutch lawyer with a total of 4 years of experience in a reputable international law firm
- Knowledge and experience with international commercial contracts, general corporate law and preferably IP and employment law;
- General knowledge of financial markets and financial law is preferred;
- A flexible and well-organized attitude;
- The ability to prioritize and manage cross-border projects;
- A commercial mind-set, a proactive nature and great team-working skills;
- Excellent communicative skills in English and Dutch (both spoken and written).
