BUSINESS SUPPORT ANALYST recruitment
The role holder will provide first line operational and technical support to all Company business users across various sites by providing a high quality of customer service to meet business requirements and deliver timely and accurate solutions.
This role will involve working on shift basis for a team who provide cover 8.00am until 10.00pm.
Core Responsibilities:
- Working in partnership with business users by applying the System Support Model to:
- Provide first line support cover for all Company sites on rotational shift pattern basis.
- Record, investigate and manage system problems reported by users.
- Liaise with business teams, IT teams and third party system suppliers to support the business use of the IT systems.
- Create and maintain MI reports.
- Represent the Support teams during project Implementations and identify appropriate support levels for Early Life Support and Business As Usual.
- Manage and maintain excellent working relationships with the business and other IT teams through strong and clear communication.
- Acting as Production custodian to ensure system stability from change request through to implementation.
- Completing system checks to ensure system availability and stability.
- Maintaining system support procedures and documentation.
- Providing support and assistance to other team members in resolving issues.
- Taking ownership and responsibility for support issues seeing them through to completion.

Core Requirements:
- Investment Industry Experience with an understanding of Investment Systems, Investment Data and Business Trading processes would be beneficial.
- Practical experience of working in a support environment.
- Experience in project management would be beneficial.
- Working knowledge of ITIL Principles applicable to business support would be advantageous.
- Delivering to a high standard of support within agreed SLA’s.
