Business Support Manager recruitment

Key aspects of the role are as follows:

*Monthly variance analysis and reporting to both central CCS finance and content senior management, for PL, Capex and headcount.
*Preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations to senior management.
*Quarterly forecasting, seeing the process through from initial plans to detailed annual budgets, including liaison with the SBUs technology groups on investment plans.
*Producing business cases for new initiatives with NPV/ ROI analysis, on an ad-hoc basis.
*Tracking costs/savings across such key investment initiatives, producing financial plans and working closely with teams to agree planning assumptions.
*Tracking Capital investment spend, ensuring it is SOX compliant and development efforts capitalised correctly
*Analysis support for content methodology for Profitability Insight tool, including model refinements.
*Ongoing work with SBU finance to ensure strategy alignment.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS - REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
* 3 years post qualification experience
* Strong financial modelling analysis skills
* Strong presentation skills; ability to analyse complex data and summarise effectively; and organisation skills, ability to work under time pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and finance
* Ability to build maintain relationships with other groups within business units supported and also within the wider finance function
