Job Description

Support Asia Chief Representative, based in Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) S.A. representative office, in the provision of excellent service experience that is expected of a Swiss private bank.

Responsibilities

- Assisting and reporting to the Asia Chief Representative, raise the business profile by providing excellent support through quality service to various stakeholders (Financial Advisors, Private Wealth Associates, Client Relationship Manager sand Office Management Team)
- Be Subject Matter Expert on Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) S.A. to Private Wealth Associates population by providing training and giving sound advice on administrative and operational queries
- Be a dependable, reliable and efficient bilateral resource between Asia Pacific Region stakeholders and Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) Geneva
- Assist Chief Rep to prepare presentations and, where appropriate, participate in meetings with Financial Advisors
- Be responsible for all administrative and operational aspects of the Representative Office

Requirements

- Recognized degree with at least 5 years' relevant experience gained in banking / asset management industry
- Solid experience gained in either a Front Office or Middle Office role
- Positive client servicing attitude and good problem resolution skills
- Thorough understanding of both Advisory and Discretionary solutions
- Matured and confident, able to work independently as well as thrive under pressure in a small dynamic team
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Excellent organizational administrative skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (Spoken and Written)
- Spoken Cantonese is an advantage
