64055 - BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST 3 (TS/SCI with Poly) Mclean, VA area Summary: Under minimal direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through user needs and an understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides analytical support for end-users who produce Intelligence Community reports and briefings. Conducts end-user classroom training on system functionality and usability. Performs at an advanced technical level on all phases of analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translating into proper system requirement specifications. Develops or modifies procedures to solve complex problems within information systems. Acts as liaison between end-user communities, stakeholders, and service providers within an enterprise. Interviews personnel from functional user area under study to learn general purpose of systems and information requirements of positions involved in the data flow. Analyzes client resources, including funding, personnel, and unfunded requirements. Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary. Tracks and documents changes to functional and business specifications. Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests. Develops, coordinates and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing. Trains and provides guidance to less experienced Business Systems Analysts. Provide first line user support to users (creates user accounts, resets passwords, triage reported problems, etc.). Conduct group and on-on-one user training sessions on system functionality and usability. Assist users with visualization of intelligence analysis on i2 Analyst's Notebook link charts. Participate in requirements gathering and design of new enhancements. Conduct unit and regression testing of new software releases. Update and creates user manuals and documentation to accompany releases. Assist with development of project documentation - project/team processes and system activities/materials Assist with updating the application's website using Joomla. Assist users with Boolean search logic queries. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Typically requires bachelor's degree (in related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience. Must have an active TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance. The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client.
