Business Systems Manager – Leading Fund Manager
My client is recruiting within the Asset Management arm of their FTSE 100 company. They are looking for a fantastic Business Systems Manager to support the IT applications that are required to manage the fund’s investments and relationships. In this company, you will be able to pursue your own ambitions and fulfil your interests. A hands-on candidate who can also balance stakeholder engagement would be ideal.
This position is extremely varied and the candidate for this role will act as the sole contact for IT issues. This is not a hands on position, and is mainly working on vendor relationships and management. An IT background and a passion for technology is vital.
Responsibilities
• 30% BAU / 70% directing projects, currently working on an outsourcing Investment Operations project
• Working Front to Back Office
• Liaising with Third Party Vendors (Bloomberg, LineData, CSC) and managing relationships.
• To be able to discuss with users and IT teams. Needs a technical knowledge as well as a shallow, broad knowledge of Investment Management
Skills
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg AIM and LineData’s ICON.
• An ability to juggle tasks, stay proactive and work well with variety.
• The ability to work with all areas of a business and the desire to learn and expand.
• An understanding of the Investment Management process
• IT Literacy, attention to detail and strong vendor problem management skills
The successful candidate will have great communication skills and the ability to implement and make improvements quickly and accurately. They will also be responsible for other managerial tasks.
