Harrington Starr is partnered with a leading broker with a heavily technical focus towards technology. My client currently has a senior level role available for a Business Technology Manager to work within the FX market and to act as the conduit between business and technology.
As the FX business technology manager, you will be liaising across multiple areas of the business including the development team, managing the UAT process. Liaising with the Test Managers to develop test strategies. Working closely with the business to identify gaps in work flow.
This position involves taking full responsibility for the FX trading floor and running point on all things technical. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise PM, BA and process management skills. As the business technology manager, you will be working with globally leading front to back technology. To be considered for the role of - Business Technology Manager, FX Technology Specialist, Product Specialist, FX Spot, FX Forward, NDF, MM, Financial Technology, Trading System Technology - you will need skills and experience in the following:
* A background working with FX technology is essential
* Excellent business knowledge of FX, FX Spot, FX Forwards, NDF's
* You will have experience of working in a project n=based capacity - ideally some Project Management experience
* EA background facing off to the business and stakeholder management
* Excellent communication, problem solving and documentation skills are essential
