Job Title: Business/Change Analyst
Rate: £225 per day
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Edinburgh
Start Date: June 2013
Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced Business/Change Analyst to join one of our large Financial Services organisations for an initial 6 month contract.
The role will involve within a project team to support the delivery of large projects across Corporate Banking arm of the organisation, specifically around customer centred/focused channels
Role deliverables:
· Support and deliver end-to-end project activities from scoping through the delivery and closure
· Build and manage effective relationships with business stakeholders at all levels
· Lead specific pieces of work and/or workstreams
· Research options, analyse data and document findings
· Develop, monitor and maintain project plans
· Identify, monitor and manage risks and issues to minimise threat to successful delivery
· Coordinate activities between different cross-divisional areas of the business
· Run project working groups
· Write workstream status reports regarding progress
· Be able to work remotely with colleagues based in different locations
· Adopt a proactive and flexible approach to tasks
· Be able to deliver Management Information
Skills required:
· Experience in applying Project/Change methodologies
· Strong stakeholder engagement relationship management skills
· Strong analysis skills by use of various tools and techniques
· Proficient in Risk and Issue management
· Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft applications
Previous Knowledge and Experience
· Experience working in a Change/Project management environment
· Full project lifecycle experience
· Experience within a Corporate Banking environment and delivering projects within this environment
· Knowledge of project planning tools and Governance
· Flexibility to respond to changing demands
· Experience within implementation of web/online/telephony channels
· Working knowledge of business operations corporate awareness
· Strong customer focus when delivering work
