Buyside Equity Analyst
The role:
You will work alongside a team of analysts under the supervision of the international equities PM. The role itself is a full fledge equity buyside analyst role. You will be responsible for your own research. It is likely you will start as a generalist and then be allocated some sectors to cover. You will conduct fundamental analysis of companies, meet/interview company management, participate in industry conferences, take part in the fund management by making buy/sell recommendations. The client will likely sponsor you to become CFA qualified. Unlike in some small firms where you have to conduct administrative tasks such as fund valuation etc... all of this is taken care of and thus not part of your job.
Candidate profile:
- My client is looking for someone with a strong personality and character
- Fluent French speaker, fluency in other languages highly desirable alongside with international professional experience in asset management, MA or PE.
- Strong academics
- 1 year to 5 years experience in valuing companies
- Demonstrated interest in investment management.
