Join the YWCA's BWR program in its mission to foster safety within the community by enabling women and men to break free from domestic abuse.

The BWR Program Director oversees the management and integration of services provided to victims of domestic violence and their children in North Central Massachusetts. The program includes a 24-hour hotline, court advocacy, shelter, crisis intervention, individual counseling, support groups, case management and the integration of essential support services for victims of domestic violence and their children. The position represents the YWCA/BWR in the community, provides supervision to staff and some direct service to victims.

Qualifications: A Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related field is required. Experience in management, supervision, implementation of programs and community collaboration and knowledge of domestic violence and/or related forms of family violence; knowledge of related issues such as substance abuse, mental health and trauma are necessary. Experience working with diverse populations of clients and staff is required.
