C# Developer, Equity Derivatives, Market making, WPF, Silverlight, High Frequency, Hong Kong
An excellent opportunity to work for an in a high profile hedge fund as a senior C# developer for their global Equity Derivatives Market Making team.
You will gain high visibility and ample business exposure by working closely with traders in designing green field front-office trading tools and desk applications. You will work alongside traders, marketers and quantitative researchers in designing and implementing software and trading systems solutions. You will help deliver a world-class desktop trading environment for sophisticated options traders in Asia and around the world.
Key Skills:
- Solid .Net experience in a C# within the context of front office trading applications using WPF and Silverlight
- Experience from within an electronic market making group is highly desirable
- Experience with building Front-End GUI's using .NET 3.5, 4.0 Framework
- Experience with object-oriented development and modeling Multithreading GUIs in N-tier architectures
- Experienced in developing C# GUIs in a high frequency environment and understanding of concurrency issues
- Experience in Equity linked/ Derivatives / liquid rates/ ETF products are desirable.
- Past experience working on comprehensive development projects without close supervision
- Ideally, an advanced degree in a mathematical or computational discipline.
- Java / KDB and SQL knowledge would also be an advantage but not essential
- Past experience in C++ MFC would also be an advantage
- Working Knowledge of Excel / VBA
